I got a package from Good Vibrations (an epic sex-positive toy store! I got my first high quality vibrator from them!) with this cute little lipstick vibrator to review. Good Vibrations also included an awesome packet of goodies stuffed into one box! I have to say, I’m a sucker for freebies, especially when they come as a surprise and include such things as little magnets including a rabbit vibrator and anal beads. So cute. If I keep getting all these awesome magnets my roommate is going to think a sex toy shop exploded on our refrigerator. I’ll be reviewing some of the freebie samples separately.

The packing the Love Lips comes in is adorable. A heart-shaped box (now I have Nirvana in my head) with a lighting bolt blazing down the front holds my black and fuchsia ”lipstick”. The massager itself is ABS Plastic, under 4 inches long and uses one AAA battery. The Love Lips also comes with a little instruction guide, and a pouch. While in most cases I adore included pouches, using it in your purse would take away the hiding factor of the vibrator appearing like a lipstick.

The Love Lips is a soft black plastic, almost velvety in texture and when closed really does appear like a normal lipstick case. It blends in well in my make-up bag. To turn on the vibrations, you twist the base, revealing a rounded fuchsia “lipstick”. Twisting it back in turns the vibrations off and you can recap it. I actually really like the color of the lipstick and would definitely buy that shade if I could!

The vibrations on the Love Lips are medium strength, actually more than I expected. The sound is quieter than most vibrators, but I wouldn’t go trying to stealth fap in a library with it. But with my air conditioner running I could barely hear it at all.

A convenient aspect of this vibrator is that if you are using it while traveling, or sneaking off at work (gasp!) if you can’t use water or a tissue to clean off the end, you can turn the base and bring the lipstick in to cap it and clean it later on.

Overall I like the Love Lips discreet massager, but I do have some issues with it. Some improvements that I would do to bump this toy up from a 3 stars to 5.

It took me a little while to figure out how to install the battery. I had to use my nail and turn the base end, then shake out the battery cap before getting the battery inside. Then found some difficulty replacing the battery cap securely.

The base end is easy to turn off the vibrations. I wish there was a sort of solid click when turning the base that would lock the vibrations on. I ended up finding mine turning off at a crucial moment!

One small improvement I would like is instead of the “lipstick” being rounded at the end, if it had the angled end like a fresh lipstick. This would help to concentrate the vibrations in my opinion. I felt like I had to play around with this toy more to get the vibrations in just the right spot, which was slightly frustrating.
